Flying into Denver International Airport is your best bet for affordable airfare, then take a shuttle or rent a car to drive to A-Basin. The drive will be 1.5 - 2 hours. The other ski mountains should also be opening soon. From now until the third weekend in November (Thanksgiving week) the slopes are pretty empty, especially during the week. As soon as the holidays hit the slopes are very crowded until after spring break in March.
