The beginning of December is an inexpensive time to travel in the USA. Hotel and car rental rates are slashed after the Thanksgiving holiday and before the big rush of the December holidays. I was looking in our hotel reservations and found some great deals.
In Miami, Florida the El Palacio Boutique Hotel has nightly rates starting at only $79 (normally they are $123). Orlando, Florida has several rates starting at $60
There are some $80-90 rates in Denver, Colorado. The 4-Star Radisson Woodlands Hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona has nightly rates starting at $70 and many of the motels are only $40-60.
If you don't mind planning only a month in advance, take a look and see what kind of great deals you can get.
