Two hours is a bit tight. Depending on the efficiency of the airport and the amount of traffic at the time you arrive, it should be enough time, but might be close.
If the customs area is not busy, you should be able to deplane, clear passport control and customs in no more than 30 minutes. You should be able to recheck your baggage for the connecting flight right in the customs area. It might take 30 more minutes to find your way to the other terminal and your next flight. Ideally, that would leave you an hour to spare.
If however, the passport control queue is long and the delay in customs is extensive, you might spend an hour or more just clearing the entry process. That might mean rushing to the next flight with only 30 minutes or less to spare.
There are some websites that post news of the security delays at various airports throughout the USA. Unfortunately, that would be little help to you, as your concern must be the passport and customs delays not the security delays.
While it is impossible to accurately predict, I would guess that two hours should most likely be enough time. If not, most airlines have multiple flights going to Florida. When you miss one flight, they can usually put you on another flight to the same destination a few hours later.
