If you get the opportunity to attend a food and wine event in a city you are visiting I highly recommend it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Restaurants from all over the city bring anywhere from one to several dishes off their menu for attendees to sample. Wineries from all over the country attend and some local breweries&amp;nbsp;offer samples of their beer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;Attending such events are a terrific way to &amp;quot;taste the city&amp;quot; and meet people from the area. The festivals are held year-round and vary depending upon the city.&amp;nbsp;Some&amp;nbsp;events are held outdoors and&amp;nbsp;others are held&amp;nbsp;in large convention hall or expand through several&amp;nbsp;hotel conference rooms. The tickets cost between $45-85 and up. The cost includes all of your food, beverages,&amp;nbsp;and usually&amp;nbsp;a&amp;nbsp;souvenir wine glass or beer&amp;nbsp;mug. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;I found some 2008 festivals and listed them below.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;April 12 - Food and Wine Festival in Palm Springs, California and the same weekend is the Texas Hill Country Wine &amp;amp; Food Festival.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;June 28th - Boulder (Colorado) Food &amp;amp; Wine Festival. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;October 9-11th - Great American Beer Festival in Denver (visitors enjoy one-ounce beer samples). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" color="black" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;COLOR:black;FONT-FAMILY:Arial;"&gt;November 15th - Northwest Food &amp;amp; Wine Festival in Portland, Oregon.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;

During my first travel to&amp;nbsp;Florida in April this year, I used the recommendations to buy the Orlando and Miami cards and saved a lot of money.
