All reservations must be secured with a $500 reservation deposit (check or money order) we do not accept credit cards. The reservation deposit converts to security deposit at check in and is refunded 7 - 10 days after your return, provided the boat is returned on time, undamaged, and with all inventory in tact. Boat SchedulesAll boats can be reserved for a 3 day weekend, 4 day midweek or 7 day week. The midweek provides a better value as you get an extra day. We have 2 schedules to meet your needs.
Schedule A Three-day weekends depart Friday morning and return Sunday afternoon at 12:00. Four-day mid-weeks depart Monday morning and return Thursday afternoon at 12:00. Seven-day cruises depart Friday or Monday morning and return the following Thursday or Sunday. Regular boarding is after 7:00 AM the day of departure. Early boarding is between 4:00pm and 6:00pm the evening before. Schedule B Three-day weekends depart Saturday morning and return Monday afternoon. Early Boarding Most of our customers like to take advantage of our early boarding program. With this program you are able to board the boat the night before departure, for example, if you are departing Monday morning you can board the boat Sunday evening, this gives you a chance to acclimate to the boat and keeps you from having to rent several hotel rooms. New for 2001, anyone taking advantage of the early boarding program will receive their training cruise upon arrival and be released to spend the first night on the river as opposed to in the marina. Boarding time for this program is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Early boarding can be purchased for $100 per boat. Boating RequirementsAll crews must have a minimum of 3 adults, an able bodied teenager may be substituted for an adult. Crews that do not have enough man-power to safely navigate the locks may be limited to cruising between lock 7 and 8 unless prior arrangements are made with Huck's. All crew members should be involved in the training cruise. We know the better trained you are to operate the yacht, the more fun you will have.
