Although Grand Teton National Park is a wilderness area located in Wyoming, one of the least populated states in the USA, the accommodation choices are quite good. There are several lodges located right within the park. The village of Jackson, just five miles south of the park entry, offers a wide variety of accommodations, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. The ski resort of Teton Village less than two miles southwest of the park offers an additional selection of hotels and condos. The lodges inside the park usually close during the winter. Outside of the park, the lodges and hotels are typically open all seasons.
